your days
Every morning, coffee and tea will be available before breakfast; every evening, after dinner, a bonfire will be lit for us. All meals and snacks are included. You will be cared for throughout your entire stay.
day: Arrive + Enjoy
Our shuttle will pick you up from Cancun Int’l Airport; we will send the time and location once we know what time everyone’s flights arrive. We will settle into our bungalows and have a brief introduction to our retreat spaces. In the evening, we will have our first delicious dinner and bonfire. Can you hear the jungle already?

Reigniting the Spark, Remembering the Strengths
We begin the retreat by creating a sacred space through a community ritual led by the Lunita tribe. — We’ll engage in introductions, discussions, and experiential exercises designed to help you reconnect with the spark that brought you together as a couple, rediscover the resilience in your bond, and celebrate your strengths as a couple.Adventure options: cold plunge + ocean visit + creative self-expression workshop

One more breakfast and many goodbye hugs before the airport shuttles take us back. The last day is always bittersweet but mostly sweet. You are invited to bring all you gained back home with you: new insights and new friendships—and if you find yourself immediately hungry for more, you can continue your relationship journey with the amazing Touchstone Psychology team or go on to future workshops.
Mexico
Lunita Jungle Hotel
Lunita is a private (gated) property in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. Only our retreat guests and staff will have access to Lunita during our stay. Lunita is nestled in the serenity of the jungle, near a private cenote and a short drive from the ocean.

BUNGALOWS:
Enjoy your stay in energetically curated spaces. Each bungalow has a queen size bed + a day bed, and is complete with 2 yoga mats + 2 cushions for your practice.

Our days will flow with balance of activities and relaxation. You’ll find plenty of time to immerse yourself in the magical environment, unwind by the pool, or curl up in a hammock with your journal for quiet moments of contemplation.
As the sun sets, we will gather around a crackling bonfire, sharing stories and sinking deeper into relaxation—nourishing mind, body, and soul.
All activities are invitations! If you, for any reason, wish to skip activities, you are more than welcome to spend your time however feels best to you.

Your Relationship Experts + Facilitators
Irina Wen, PhD, is a warm and compassionate clinical psychologist and psychotherapist with a heartfelt passion for helping people build stronger, more secure connections—with themselves, their loved ones, and their communities. Her work is rooted in attachment theory and a trauma-informed approach, creating a safe and supportive space for healing and growth.
A certified Emotionally Focused Couple’s Therapy (EFT) therapist and supervisor, Irina serves as the Executive Director of NYCEFT (www.nyceft.org) and is deeply committed to helping couples foster lasting closeness and understanding. She is the founder of Touchstone Psychology, PLLC, a group practice dedicated to providing personalized care for couples, families, and individuals.
Irina also loves mentoring and guiding the next generation of mental health professionals, offering teaching, supervision, and consultation. As a clinical associate professor at NYU Langone Health, she was honored to help establish the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Center, creating impactful resources for military families. Irina brings warmth, expertise, and dedication to every aspect of her work, empowering her clients and colleagues to thrive.
Ian Wen, MFA, is a dynamic movement and somatic teacher, as well as a performance artist, based in New York City. With a passion for creativity and connection, Ian has shared his expertise in performance and movement around the world, including in Greece, the Netherlands, Mexico, Argentina, and Ukraine.
For over 20 years, Ian was a beloved faculty member at Brooklyn College, where he taught and inspired both MFA and BFA students through his innovative approach to performance and movement. As the co-founder and artistic director of De Novo Dance, Ian has received multiple state and city grants for creating groundbreaking new works and fostering meaningful collaborations with senior communities.
Ian’s work reflects his deep commitment to creativity, inclusivity, and the power of movement to connect and transform.
Nadine Tlili, MFA, is an empowerment photographer and retreat facilitator/organizer with a past in architectural design tied into environmental psychology. Her journey from designing sustainable environmentally architectural spaces to holding space for personal and professional transformation reflects her deep passion for creating tangible and emotional environments where people can thrive.
Nadine's work is deeply rooted in emotional intelligence; she uses cameras as an empowerment tool to connect with true yourself. Her sessions go beyond capturing stills and motion pictures; they invite clients to reconnect with their inner light and authenticity.
As a somatic retreat facilitator and founder of Somatic Soul Collective, Nadine combines creative expression, mindfulness, and embodiment practices to foster healing and growth. Her retreats provide safe and transformative spaces where participants can explore, reconnect, and embrace their personal power.
