Each Rauhnacht is connected to a specific theme. Dedicate 30 minutes to an hour each day to immerse yourself in its meaning. You can meditate, reflect, or get creative—paint, craft, or write. Each day, note down your dreams, thoughts, or events that stood out. These may offer clues about the month linked to that Rauhnacht. You could also draw cards for guidance and inspiration.

Think of these activities as tools to help you explore yourself and view your life from a fresh perspective. For example, drawing a card can spark associations that lead to valuable insights.

There’s no single "right" way to celebrate the Rauhnächte. This is your time to tailor rituals to your needs. Below is a sample guide to inspire your journey:

Begin each Rauhnacht by taking slow, deep breaths to feel your heart. You might even try a heart meditation to open yourself to the experience. Then, reflect on the following questions for each Rauhnacht:

  • What do I want to achieve in the coming year?

  • Is there something that needs forgiveness?

2nd Rauhnacht (Dec 25): Freedom

  • What makes me uniquely special?

  • What do I want to free myself from?

  • Where do I long for change?

3rd Rauhnacht (Dec 26): Connection

  • Do I trust my intuition?

  • What do external events reveal about my inner world?

  • Where is there chaos in my life?

4th Rauhnacht (Dec 27): Awakening Strength

  • What gives me energy?

  • Where am I brave, and where do I lack courage?

  • What is worth fighting for?

5th Rauhnacht (Dec 28): Feeling Secure

  • What do I need to feel safe?

  • Am I living the life that truly suits me?

  • Can I let go easily?

6th Rauhnacht (Dec 29): Lightening Up

  • Do I enjoy learning new things?

  • Am I easily distracted?

  • What comes easily to me? Where are my strengths?

  • Is there balance between giving and receiving?

  • Do I enjoy working hard?

Let your heart speak and record your reflections. Write down what you’ve discovered or express it through art. These notes can serve as touchstones throughout the year, reminding you of the wisdom gained during this special time.
